About This Place

Nestled just off I-40 at Exit 200, Catfish Roundup offers a genuine taste of classic American southern comfort food in Seminole, Oklahoma. This beloved American restaurant is a haven for catfish lovers and fans of hearty, well-prepared homestyle dishes, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere that balances casual charm with attentive service.

Many diners are instantly won over by the complimentary hot apple fritters that greet every table—soft, sweet, with just the right hint of cinnamon spice, and often offered again as you wait for your meal. These fritters set the tone for a dining experience that feels both generous and heartfelt, a true reflection of Southern hospitality.

The restaurant’s namesake, the Catfish Dinner, is a standout favorite. Whether you go for the classic fried catfish fillets or the crispy catfish strips, you can expect a golden, crunchy batter bursting with flavor while locking in tender, flaky fish inside. Served with traditional sides like creamy coleslaw, crisp fries, and fluffy rolls, every bite is a satisfying blend of textures and tastes that feels like a warm embrace. For those who want to indulge, the All You Can Eat Catfish Dinner offers enormous portions at a great value, allowing seafood enthusiasts to savor their favorite dish to the fullest.

Beyond catfish, the menu boasts a diverse range of southern specialties and American staples crafted with care. The Chicken Fried Steak is consistently praised for its perfectly crispy crust and rich, savory gravy, making it a must-try dish. Meat lovers will appreciate the juicy Brisket Sandwich and tender Sirloin Steak, while lighter options like the Grilled Chicken Salad provide balanced flavors without skimping on heartiness. Don’t miss the Butterfly Shrimp or the savory Round Up Cheese Burger and Fries for classic satisfaction served hot and fresh.

The welcoming, down-to-earth ambiance is enhanced by friendly, knowledgeable staff who add a personal touch to the dining experience. Servers are often noted for their warm attentiveness and helpful recommendations, making each visit feel like a well-cared-for occasion. The dining room buzzes with positive energy, from families enjoying hearty plates to travelers seeking a flavorful pit stop that feels like a neighbor’s kitchen.

Practical amenities extend beyond the restaurant itself, with RV-friendly parking and well-maintained hookups—a bonus for road trippers eager to rest and refuel both vehicles and appetites in one convenient location.

With a menu that merges robust Southern flavors with familiar, comforting standards and a reputation for quality ingredients and generous portions, Catfish Roundup stands out as a culinary gem in Seminole. Whether you crave the crispy, spicy hush puppies or a tender sirloin paired with freshly brewed iced tea, the overall experience leaves a lasting impression you’ll be happy to return to time and again.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff. The apple fritters were in full effect and came around several times as we waited. The catfish was delicious and the hush puppies have an interesting kick.

Great restaurant right off I-40 and Exit 200. Complimentary apple fritters and delicious dinner rolls are offered. It’s hard to eat just one. The Chicken Fried steak was great, and the gravy was delicious as well. The catfish batter had great flavor. Next time you’re in the area, don’t pass this place up. The waitresses are friendly and offer great suggestions.

First off we are traveling along the I-40 and needed a place to stop for the night. We stayed at their park with water and electric for $29 .level enough spot and large enough for our 40'with a tow. Had heard the reviews on the restaurant were great. So thought we would check it out, and I have to agree whole heartedly. Cindy ,our server, was the best! You start off with free fritters that are so good we had to buy some for the road. We ordered chicken fried steak. You could cut it with a fork and was delicious. If I lived near by I would be a regular for sure!!!!

The fritters are incredible! The catfish is good, crispy fries and our waitress was amazing. The only issue was that the roll lady kept acting like we weren’t there and served people all around us

Damn good food. Coleslaw was good (and I am picky). My husband got the AUCe Catfish dinner, and forced himself to finish his first plate, because there was so much on the plate. The catfish was clean, hot, and delicious, and the price for the all you can eat was cheaper than most places for a single serve dinner. I had the country fried steak with brown gravy, and boy was it good, not those frozen patties you get at most restaurants. The rolls were hot and fresh as we're the fritters. Very friendly staff, from FOH to Servers. And the rv park is only $27.50 / night. Will definitely arrange our return trip to do a stay over here.

If you don't like fish, this is the place to go! The catfish is so tender and tastes exquisite because you can't tell it's fish!! Chef's kiss for me! Hot apple fritters to start and big soft pillowy buttery rolls are served with Grandma's veggies as sides. It may look like a hole in the wall, but it's anything but!! Please check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Service was excellent..Cindi was very friendly, kept our drinks full made sure we had everything needed. Food was fresh hot and came out quickly. Portion were large, you're served free fresh hot apple fritters before your meal and fresh hot dinner rolls when your meal comes out. Just plain good down home service and cookin'.

We decided to stay in the RV park and take in the whole catfish roundup experience. Easy pull in and hookup. Level cement pads with full hookups for $27.50. Quiet with long pull through spots. Now for the food! Excellent service by Cindy and excellent food by the kitchen. My husband had the all you can eat catfish and it was delicious. Onion rings were perfectly served. I had the petite catfish plate with French fries. Catfish was cooked perfectly but the star of the show in my opinion was the apple fritters and doughy yeast rolls. Both hot and right out of the oven! Just a perfect spot after a long day on the road. Woke up to quite a surprise snow storm but nothing on the road. Thanks!
